This policy explains what information MyResumeStarter ("we") collects when you use myresumestarter.com and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Résumé content: what you type in the builder. Drafts are stored in your browser. When you start checkout, a copy of that version is stored with your account so you can download it.
- Purchase information: order and payment status from our payment processor, Shopify. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address and browser type) used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To provide the builder and your downloads, process payments, respond to support requests and protect the service. We don't sell your personal information or use your résumé content for advertising.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (hosting and database) and Shopify (checkout and payments). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Cookies
We use a necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can clear your draft from the builder at any time. To access or delete your account and saved résumés, email codysink209@gmail.com.
Students and minors
The service is designed for students. If you're under 13, please don't create an account. If you're under 18, use the service with a parent or guardian's permission.
